Dr. James E. Hansen

Dr. James E. Hansen, a world-renowned climate scientist, is one of the Expert Witnesses providing evidence in the court action brought by Dykstra et al against SaskPower, the Crown Investment Corporation, and the Government of Saskatchewan.
Dr. Hansen is the current Director of the Climate Science, Awareness and Solutions Program of the Earth Institute at Columbia University in the city of New York, United States. He is best known for his research in climatology and his 1988 Congressional testimony on climate change that helped raise broad awareness of global warming.
