Dr. Katherine Arbuthnott, professor emerita of the Campion College at the University of Regina is one of the Expert Witnesses providing evidence in the court action brought by Dykstra et al against SaskPower, the Crown Investment Corporation, and the Government of Saskatchewan.
Katherine is one of the co-founders of EcoStress Sask, which is a province-wide community group providing support for people with eco anxiety. Katherine also strives to provide public education about eco-anxiety and she has conducted research that demonstrated how time spent in nature can reduce anxiety and stress as well as increase positive emotions.
