Sabrina DykstraSabrina Dykstra is an applicant in the court action Dykstra et al v Saskpower. Sabrina is a high school student who has been concerned about the impacts of dangerous climate change for several years. Since learning about the climate crisis, Sabrina has taken personal steps to lower her ecological footprint. During the years that she has been tuned in to this issue, she has become increasingly disillusioned by Saskatchewan’s government and its crown corporation Saskpower. Their minimal action to take proper steps to mitigate the impacts of climate change have demonstrated an alarming lack of either knowledge or regard to the issue. She hopes that this court action will raise awareness and spark important change in Saskatchewan.
